Ketton Limestone, 6' 0" height. Installed above the portico
of All Saints Church, Northampton, England. Replaced the original
17th century work which had weathered greatly King Charles II
had given the city a thousand tons of Oakwood from the royal
forests to help it rebuild after a great fire destroyed it in
1668. In gratitude, the city erected a statue of the king above
his coat of arms on the central church designed by Sir Christopher
Wren.
